Balmer Roofing has been working on my roof which was a complete loss due to hail. I have been nothing but pleased with the entire crew. Jason Johns is the project manager. He has done an excellent job. He is careful about all the details and keeps me constantly updated. He's answered all of my questions completely and ease any concerns that I had. The crew was also just excellent, hard-working and experienced. I cannot think of a better place to do a roofing job, especially under the guidance of Jason.

I contacted several roofing companies in the area. Balmer was the first to show up and explained what the job would entail and gave me a detailed explanation of their procedure. We don’t live in Lawrence so we are a couple of weeks from when the roofing was done. What a great job they did! Looks great!

Hands down the best roofing company in the metro! They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. After a large windstorm came through on Friday night, my husband and I didn’t realize we had roof damage until Sunday afternoon. We emailed Balmer right away since another storm was expected on Tuesday. Despite it being the weekend, we received multiple responses that same Sunday and had a free estimate and the repairs completed by Monday afternoon. Their team even sent several photos after the work was finished so we could see the completed repairs. Needless to say, we’ll be hiring Balmer for any and all future roofing needs.

Alen has been fantastic to work with over the past year, he is attentive, informative and very thorough. Though we only had a small repair, he took the time to check the entire roof and provide positive feedback. He responds quickly to any questions or service requests and goes out of his way to ensure we have what we need. Thank you!!! Excellent work, I highly recommend this team. Well deserved 5 stars.

I used Jon to inspect a roof in Topeka and not only did he get out there almost immediately he provided me with honest feedback in that the roof still had a lot of life left! Not only was Johnn extremely communicative, fast, but he was honest! He could’ve easily told us we needed a new roof!! I’d highly recommend Balmer Roofing!!

Balmer Roofing did a wonderful job replacing the roof on our house! We primarily worked with Desiree. She was very prompt and clear with her communications with us, and helped us to answer questions we had regarding the different roofing products as well as listened to us when wanting to configure our gutters a certain way. When it was time for roof installation, the crew was very respectful of our property, making sure to not damage plants and also was considerate in making sure that we were able to access our cars while the dumpster for roofing material was in the driveway. The crew was also very prompt in starting every day at the same time (7:30am on the dot). All in all, it took 2 days to replace ~1000 sq. ft roof and ~0.5 days to install 160 linear feet of gutters. We would highly recommend Balmer Roofing and Solar to anyone looking to have their roof replaced!

Desiree was great!! She worked with our insurance company and had them reassess the hail damage done to our property. She eventually got them to agree on replacing our roof, garage door, gutters, and window screens. She went above and beyond to help us get the coverage we pay for! Definitely appreciate her hard work and dedication.

Very professional and responsive! They looked at my roof the day after calling, then came again when the insurance adjuster came out. Insurance was approved, and they replaced my roof the following week. The crew was fast and they cleaned up very well. I don't think you can get any better than this.

Little late review. Jon and his team did great work on my roof when they replaced it back in August. He was in consistent contact with me throughout the process, which I appreciated. I had a small hiccup that caused a slight delay in the process, but he was very accommodating and when I was ready to go about a week or 2 later, he made it happen. Will use him again for any future roofing.

My roof had hail damage, and Balmer did a great job in identifying the damage and explaining the extent of the damage to the adjuster. Not only did they complete the job in one day but when they pulled off the roof, much of the underlayment was damaged and they replaced that also. Then, when they finished they spray painted all the plumbing vents so they matched the roof! It was a fantastic job and my house looks amazing thanks to the team. The roofers were thorough, and tidy. They brought food and water and were really kind to me. Desiree with Balmer, was responsive and knowledgeable and I was able to reach out to her throughout the project to get questions answered and make sure it was all going well. I would use Balmer again and will tell everyone I know to consider them also.

We recently engaged Balmer Roofing and Solar for the replacement of our roof, gutters, and exterior painting of our house. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. This company replaced our roof, gutters and screens as an insurance claim. They were awesome to work with, addressed all our concerns and their work was excellent! Highly Reccomend!!

Overall good experience with this company. Jon was easy to work with and the crew did good work. They torn old wood shingles off the roof, repaired broken rafters, and put down new osb and shingles in one day. The new roof looks great. It's been 4 months and no issues with the roof so far.

Jon was super flexible with our schedule and came by ASAP to address a roof leak we discovered. He was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took and shared a TON of pictures when he found an issue. Would highly recommend them.

I had a really nice experience working with Jon Balmer for my new roof and gutters. He spent time with me walking around the house pointing out areas he could put flashing and venting to help the house. Jon shared his product knowledge of shingles and gutters so I could make informed decisions. During the job, Jon and his crew were accommodating to my needs and last minute changes. The crew worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Now, all I need is, for it not to hail. :).

I have nothing but good things and praise for this roofing company. Alen Kramer was an amazing help to us,very professional and knowledgeable about what we needed and helped us with insurance company for we were clueless to the whole process, but Alen and his crew were on time as promised they did an amazing job on the roof and the crew cleaned up all the debris and and had our roof replaced in one day. I can't thank them all enough for a job well done and I would definitely recommend this company for all your roofing needs.
